Custom Workshop Bridge Gangway

Supporting the lifesaving work of the RNLI is something we’re incredibly proud of at DNA Ramps & Access. In August 2025, our engineering team completed a fully bespoke workshop bridge gangway for their Dorset facility — designed to streamline maintenance operations and improve safe access between their mezzanine and vessels during repair work.

The RNLI required a robust, purpose‑built solution that could withstand daily workshop use while remaining easy to handle and adaptable. Working closely with their team, we engineered a gangway to the following specifications:

Project Specification Details

Dimensions: 2550mm (L) x 1900mm (W)

Hinged underside: 500mm (as per client sketch)

Removable handrails on both sides

6mm kick plate for added edge protection

Fixing/locking latch for secure positioning

Safe Working Load: Certified to 600kg
