At DNA Ramps & Access, we love a challenge — and our ongoing partnership with HST Purus has delivered some of our most innovative marine access solutions to date. Since 2023, we’ve been supporting their fleet with a range of bespoke gangways, including one standout design that has now become a firm favourite.
In July 2023, HST Purus approached us with a unique requirement: a curved aluminium gangway capable of safely supporting a 200kg SWL, while also adapting to varying height positions on site. Our engineering team developed a custom solution featuring a precision built pivot plate, allowing the gangway to be set at multiple angles with complete stability.
The first unit was delivered to the Port of Swansea and quickly proved its value. The design was so effective that it became the standard specification for future orders — enabling us to streamline production and reduce manufacturing times to just 2–3 weeks per gangway.
In August 2024, we delivered the next unit in the series, continuing our commitment to fast turnaround times, UK manufacturing, and long‑term client support.
